About Me

Oh, let's see......

Well, I'll start by saying the most central and important thing in my life is that I am a follower of Jesus Christ, saved by grace through faith in Him and humbled every single day at His mercy and love. Everything is by Him and for Him and He alone is worthy of praise.

My husband Jeremy and I got married just out of college before he began his coaching/teaching career and I was working on my Masters Degree. I have worked in advertising, marketing, teaching and business all involving art in various forms. We have been blessed with two incredible daughters. And together we are walking through this journey of life and growing and learning more each day. Jeremy is not only my husband and best friend but also my project partner as we love to remodel and build things together. He is a very skilled craftsman and all around handy man really. Our biggest project besides several room remodels and furniture pieces created over the years has been my art studio that we did much of the work on together (along with help from some of his equally skilled and hard working family).

So, I am an artist (which is probably why you are checking out this page) and all around creative spirit. You might say I'm a perpetual dreamer. I love working in pretty much all traditional art media. I also enjoy reading, photography, sewing, bargain hunting, decorating, blogging, traveling and spending as much time with the people I love as possible. Maybe you're a little like that too and we would get along great talking for hours over coffee and something with chocolate... or bread...or chocolate bread. Mmmm, now I'm hungry. But, I digress....

I enjoy designing, making, and creating all kinds of things. I've always been this way. When I was a little girl I collected "treasures" that I could use to make stuff with. A trait it seems my girls have also inherited.

I'm the kind of artist who always has multiple projects going on at the same time. My studio is lovingly jam packed with a little bit of everything for: painting, drawing, mixed media, printmaking, sculpture, jewelry, sewing, collage, stained glass and soldering, encaustic painting, photography, graphic design and pretty much anything else that sparks my creativity.

Over the years, the Lord has shown me in so many ways and through His word that every gift, every talent, every opportunity and every relationship I have is a result of God's blessing and an opportunity to share His love. I know that the greatest joy and fulfillment in my life comes when He is glorified. I pray my life and work honors my Savior.

So, there you have it, a little bit about me.

Hope you will visit my blog now and then and be inspired and blessed.

With love,

Jackie
